Somalia, highly vulnerable to climate change impacts like droughts and floods, faces significant health challenges, including zoonotic diseases. Over 70% of the population depends on livestock, emphasizing the need for a holistic One Health approach. Recently, Somalia established the One Health National Level Technical Working Group and prioritized major zoonotic diseases. Amoud University (AU), the nation’s oldest educational institute leads these efforts as a COHESA member. We aim to strengthen national coordination, enhance research capabilities, and integrate One Health into the educational curriculum. AU organized Somalia's inaugural One Health conference and is launching a master's-level One Health program. Yusuf Hared, Director for the Center for Research and Community Service  at AU will be point of contact for country activities under COHESA
